Introduction
This article provides an overview of the roles & permission for the Mi Aftercare application.
All user accounts for Mi Aftercare are governed & controlled from within the Mi Project Admin panel & support Single Sign On (SSO) functionality to all other Mi Suite applications.
Client Roles
Users that need to log & track defects from a customers organisation once added to the respective project in Mi Aftercare have the "Client" role applied to their Mi project account.
They must have the client role applied & be associated to a customer organisation in the drop down lists.
It is possible to add client users from multiple organisations to a project within Mi Aftercare to cater for where a building is managed by an external party to the customer.
The only caveat being that the organisation must exist within the organisations dropdown, if this does not they can just be added as a user under the same customer organisation.
Internal Willmott Dixon Roles
There are 4 key Internal Willmott Dixon roles within the Mi Aftercare system, a user should only be allocated one role.
-
Super Admin - This is a group level permission & should only be granted to very limited users as this provides visibility & control over the entire application.
-
LCO Admin (CSA) - This is the highest role per LCO & provides the ability to set up & configure new projects entering DLP along with the ability to manage defects across the LCO. This user role also receives notifications of when new projects are ready to configure within the system.
-
Customer Services Rep - This allows a user to administer defects across the LCO & perform all the same actions as a CSA with the exception of the ability to set up & configure new projects.
-
Reviewer - This role allows a user to review all defects within their LCO but they are unable to make any changes or administer defect assignments etc.
Supply Chain Partner Roles
There are 2 SCP roles within Mi Aftercare, all organisations should have at least 1 SCP Admin user.
-
SCP Admin - This is the highest permissions level within a SCP organisation & allows the management & administration of SCP Users within their own organisation.
-
SCP User - This is the standard SCP role & caters for defects to be assigned, these users are only able to see defects that are assigned either to themselves directly or the organisation, they are not able to view defects assigned to other users even within the same organisation.
SCP users must be assigned to a SCP organisation, SCP organisations are sync'd from the Willmott Dixon SCP Portal.
